Food- no complaints- delicious Service a little slow during brunch when not busy. It could get loud when two different parties in one room area. Enjoy introducing friends to this venue. Parking: Parking an issue, but does not a deterrent.
Hopfields is a fun spot to check out. Their food is outstanding and their beer selection is top notch, especially for a smaller place. The staff is very nice and super helpful.
This place has a great atmosphere with the staff to match. Food may cost a bit more than other places in the area, but the quality of ingredients, preparation and service are all worth it. You can not go wrong ordering a duck reuben with side salad. Great selection of beers with people who are friendly and knowledgeable about what is on tap.
i used to come here to treat myself. came again today to order the steak tartare and poutine, my 2 favorite things whenever i would come. compared to a year ago, the quality and quantity of the food have disappointingly gone down. the poutine was half of size it used to be, very salty, and no longer have the option to add meat to it. the beef tartare was still good but the quality of the beef was not that good and they only gave you 5 pieces of bread to go with it.
Loved the atmosphere of the back rooms. It felt like you were in someone's chic French home. The mussels were among the best I've ever had because the broth was amazing. Our server Epiphany was delightful and elevated our experience.
I came into Hopfield’s due to me always being in tbe Hyde Park area. My food was stellar, no gripes with the shishitos, burgers or dessert I had — all perfect. Most of all, Kyle (my bartender) provided the best service I’ve received in a long while in an Austin establishment. He made great conversation, guided me through the menu whenever I had questions, and selected a beer that was not too hoppy for my taste. I’ll be sure to drop by again for their massive beer selection and to hopefully have the pleasure of conversing with Kyle once more. Thanks!
I had a great dining experience at Hopfields located in central Austin. Their lobster chowder was very tasty and so too was the mussels with pommel frites. Service was great and I loved the ambiance.
The atmosphere is great and my service has always been amazing. Parking can be tricky.
