Bland food, overpriced and the customer service sucks!!

Never got a chance to try the food they were closed but the business hours are from 8 to 7pm came all the way from Memphis Tn

Wanted to give them a good score but I just couldn’t. I spent $50 dollars and nothing I purchased was good. Chicken, Oxtails, gravy all to salty. Mac N Cheese no flavor. Greens, corn bread and peach cobbler all just a disaster. I have to just make the drive to LA. SFV is not the place for soul food. So disappointed

The food was really good. We had the Oxtails potatoes yams greens cornbread rice cobbler banana pudding & kool-aid. They are very generous with the food. The place is family oriented. My son loved it, and the staff, as well as the chef, were great hosts. HOOD BABY for the Good Eats

When we first arrived, there wasn't anyone behind the counter and the door was open. The cook came in a minute after us, and said, I think she's in the bathroom, and he walked in the back and said ARE YOU IN THE BATHROOM, OH MY GOD! The young girl working the counter, doesn't know anything, every question I asked her, she responded with, I DON'T KNOW! For starters, they only had 5 items ready to serve. They don't open til 12pm on Saturday's. I had there over cooked baked chicken, and over cooked beans and rice, with there tasteless greens. They brought the cornbread out, but the pan was so deep the cornbread had a big hole in the middle of it, and full of butter sitting in the center of the uncooked cornbread, which they took back. My wife had Catfish and fries, which they cooked when we ordered, (good job). There awful food was over priced. I'm 58, and don't ever recall having food this bad, not sure where that so called cook is from. We had to clean our own table off, and it was so hot in there, no AC! We were the first customers of the day, and there wasn't a letter grade posted, not sure if a letter (F) exists! I could go on, but you decide for yourself. God bless your restaurant!!!!

YALL Please go to Hoodbaby Great Soulfood and Beautiful Kind Customer Service I know that’s right ! Not only is the food Bomb, But the atmosphere is very nice as well ! Y’all need to hurry up and take Ya butt To hoodbaby !
