My Husband got food poisoning from this place. We ate around 6 and by 2:30 this morning he was vomiting and diarrhea. I will never go to this place again!!!
Kung bo has dark meat. Meh.
Szechuan chicken was not spicy at all, sesame chicken was bland, egg rolls were greasy, crab rangoons are just cream cheese rangoons, fried wontons barely had a drop of meat in them just all wonton. Only went here because egg roll #1 on Smith Valley is closed on Sunday. It’s hard to compete with egg roll #1, they are great and have been for years.
Best Chinese food around. Their hot & sour soup is the best!!! Update: Hot & sour soup is no longer the best. I've tried it several times after new ownership, it's not like it used to be.
Truly good food! We’ve had General Tso and Beef and Broccoli plus Crab rangoon several times!(rices, lo mein, and sauces too) But….. they don’t accept AMEX and are willing to cancel a $40+ over it. And I just recently ordered 02/2024- the crab Rangoon only had cream cheese, no crab at all. Plus portions are noticeably different. Management/ person “in charge” was not friendly during credit card situation in the past. Worth a few extra $$ but it’s a mixed bag
Food not good not taste at all
A lot of people seem to be saying this place is great, but honestly it really isn't anymore. I used to eat here regularly when I was growing up, and it was easily the best chinese place around. Even after I moved out, I would still get food from here every other month or so. Then, one day, it was completely different. The General Tso's chicken went from having a great flavor and decent crunch to being slightly more bland tasting and soggy. The Wonton soup started tasting more salty for some reason, and the dumplings, which I used to come for on their own some days, were replaced with complete garbage. I used to love this restaurant, and would have recommended it to anyone anytime. I even had their phone number favorited in my contacts, which I had normally reserved for only my girlfriend and work. I tried going back multiple times after the food had changed, but now it just tastes like any other generic Chinese restaurant you can go to. I wish I could eat at the place I used to love and frequent, and I wish I could recommend it, but at this point I have little faith they'll ever return to being the same amazing restaurant they had been for at least 10+ years. Such a shame.
