Hong Kong City

We love Hong Kong City! They always come through for us! Constantly the wife and I end up scrambling to pick a spot for takeout and they always take our order even if it’s a few minutes til closed. They literally make it and it tastes great. Not sure why others are saying it doesn’t but it does taste good. Is there places that serve better food? Yes but for this price range this is great. It’s it expensive to us. Great value for the price range. Give it a go! Mid level pricing.

Well, I give up. I guess I’m just an idiot that I keep going back after a period of time thinking the Hong Kong City Experience will be positive, but again I was disappointed. I continued to try it even though I know that I will get Zero greeting, Zero thank you for your business and based on prior experiences a good chance it’s just not going to be any good. I can microwave my leftovers too. What can I say? it’s conveniently located. It’s not cheap. So for my last meal ever at Hong Kong City, the meal did not smell good, the broccoli and snow peas were barely green and lacked the slightest crunch. I had one small hesitant serving and the rest I 80 sixed. Waste of my hard earned money. If you want to bring home dinner, open up the container and want to be able to say “wow this smells and looks tasty and gosh, that lady was so darn friendly” — You need to go elsewhere. If you are from out of town, there are so many good options, this is not one of them. Even if the food stinks, it’s always a consolation prize for the owners to at least appear to be appreciative of your business. Jeez. Oh, and that comment somebody else made about the Child laborer who messed up their bill, ha! the Same thing happened to me back in 2020 during the Covid set up with their business. It’s 2024 so clearly I am a glutton for punishment.

Hands down the worst shrimp and broccoli I’ve had

I really didn’t like the food and they used yellow rice the crab cakes was a lil too sweet for me

I will never eat in a place where I see a lot of white people again…that means the food ain’t seasoned… The vegetables are not cooked and my wings were as tuffff as leather

Order in the last week and the food is excellent portion and flavor for the price, great delivery service like walnuts shrimp

Great shrimp egg rolls, the best I have had. Great price as well

Delicious food! All of us really enjoyed it. We had General Tso chicken with fried rice, Hunan chicken with white rice and a hot and sour soup. Everything was on point.
