This place is so great! It has an awesome vibe, some good live music, and a ton of interesting flavors to try out! Plus, the bartender was very nice and informative!
Small and intimate, get there early if you're going to see some live music as there's limited seating and not much standing room. There's some covered outside tables though. Parking: It's located in an alley, so nearby street parking and a few parking lots nearby are your choices.
Great for a date or just to warm up with a hot spiced mead (or cool off with a cider). Occasionally there's great music hosted in a space that's too small for all the folks who want to be there, so if there's a show you want to catch, show up early and treat yourself to some delicious appetizers. COVID update: they require proof of vaccination for indoor seating, so bring your card or get it on your phone. Covid update update: the above no longer applies.
We had drinks as and saw a great music act.
Incredible mead and cider! Highly recommend the reserve mead and peach cider
My girlfriend and I went to the Honey Moon on our US road trip. I am a huge fan of mead and she enjoys cider, which was a great combination. The server (I didn’t catch their name, but she had purple hair) was very kind, approachable, and provided excellent service. The quality of the mead and cider was also excellent and they gave fairly good portions on the flights. The owner “Murph” came up to us at the table and asked how everything was, he was very nice and welcoming. I gotta say, it’s one of the best places I’ve been to, and I would highly recommend going!
I enjoyed the drinks and atmosphere, and the live music nights are a great opportunity to hear local artists. However, it does tend to be quite loud both inside and out of the bar, to a point that seems inconsiderate of the several apartment buildings which share the alley with Honeymoon, especially for late weekday nights.
I'm not a fan of mead but still wanted to check this place out as they have other drink options. Definitely a cute date night spot. We caught the last couple minutes of a jam session that was going on. Cool place!
I love this place because it reminds me of a place I would have a pint in a D&D game. The mead was tasty, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was great. We went when there wad live music - which was perfect. There was no extra seating, we had to wait. It was worth it. I can’t wait to go back!
Always a great experience here. The weekly open-mic is beautiful and really gives you a sense of the tight-knit folk art community of Bellingham. The bar staff are friendly, the drinks are yummy, and the food is amazing. Come for a show sometime. You'll love it.
