Great bar and restaurant! Awesome food and late night snack

Solid food, decent drinks and nice staff but nothing standout.

Excellent food for what looks like a dive bar kitchen. You will be pleasantly surprised!

Once one of the few late night spots that had a kitchen operating nearly as late as they served drinks, HJ’s seemed to be top of the game. Reliable drinks, great sandwiches, and the brunch was spot on. But those days seem to be in the near past. The quality at Honest John’s has declined steeply over the last five years. Adaptable during covid, their tent was a nice touch, but the pared down menu and generally dry, over-salted food leaves much to be desired nowadays. The back end of the bar routinely smells like sewage, too — which is unfortunate because the kitchen is next to it. No longer the only game in town, there are plenty of other options nearby for drunk food.

First time. Great food and service. Get the chili cheese fries - delish!

Had the corned beef sandwich on a carry out it was horrible. They didn’t make it the way I asked it wasn’t the order taker fault, because she repeated my order exactly how I wanted it, if I wasn’t so hungry I would have took it back. First and last time

Be careful when you order a cup of coffee you might get hair in it. Outside of that everything was good
