We're used to much more Americanized Indian restaurants, and we had to Google a bunch of stuff. 😂 Our server was super helpful, and suggested a dish we would probably enjoy (which we saw another two or three families order, LOL). We ordered the Manchurian (Gravy) and the Triple Szechuan Rice (our server's suggestion). Both were DELICIOUS, and the portions were huge - expect to be able to easily share a dish between two people! I also really love that the whole menu is vegetarian (or vegan on request) - it's not often I can find a place with really good, satisfying vegetarian options. Will be back for sure!!

We had the bahubali sandwich, chili paneer, the dabang dosa, the masoori dosa, and the pav bhaji. The sandwich and fries were delicious. The paneer chili was nice and tender. Both of the dosa had a little more spice than usual, which I don't mind, but my family found it spicy. The pav bhaji was lacking a little in spices but was still good. I am only giving it three stars because of the service and condition. We came at a time where only the four of us (me, my wife, and my two grandparents) were the only customers. There were several people that came and went with to-go orders, but it was more like one at a time kind of thing never busy. The only time anyone came to our table was to get the food order, and to give us our food. No one ever came to check on us during the rest of the visit. Unacceptable as we were literally the only customers dining in and they had staff. One of the workers went to the back and sat with his friends at table, and the other one behind the counter was on his phone the entire time. I had to raise my voice to get their attention if something was needed. I am not saying wait on me hand and foot, but atleast stop by the table once or twice to make sure nothing else was needed, especially when we are the only customers dining in the restaurant. Lastly the bathroom is in poor condition. No paper towels in the dispenser and the sink barely has any pressure for the water. There was barely water coming out to wash your hands.

No respect for customers. We arrived around 8:30 pm and staff didn’t even offer a table as per request. They said we have cleaned table so won’t allow to sit in this area. We had such a horrible experience at Honest. No respect for customers. They give a huge menu however only few items are available.

I JUST got my Uber eats order from Honest Indian. I have ordered from here before and loved it. The food is still good, but I found TWO black hairs in my food!!! Nasty! I had to throw all of it away. So disappointing.

>>>> UPDATE: Taj Indian located at 3943 Nolensville Pike has great service and GREAT FOOD, check them out!<<<<<< My wife and I visited this restaurant for our weekly date night and we were surprisingly dissatisfied. We don’t know who the man was (he appeared to be the owner) but he initially came off as very helpful and eager until we actually needed assistance; then he never returned to our table the entire visit. My wife ordered the mushroom masala with high hopes and was instead given an entree that was FULL of grease. The masala was so greasy that she was concerned she would get sick if she ate it. When a waitress came back by the table, my wife requested to order something else to replace what she had initially ordered. After the young woman made a snarky remark, she then notified us that they could make another entree but we would have to pay for them both. Her reason for this was “because the kitchen could not reuse the food”...well, hopefully, no kitchen at any restaurant is reusing their food in this way, however most are still accommodating of their customers. I did not want there to be any conflict so we decided that I would finish my food and my wife would eat elsewhere. After talking to the owner who still hadn’t come back, the young woman returned with an offer for a free meal that they give to dissatisfied customers. We ordered one of them and what she brought out was not a meal but a very cold, very cheap, appetizer. At this point, after 2 dishes that we did not care for, her attitude, and being stared at by the entire staff who sat together in a corner of the restaurant, we decided to leave. Upon leaving we were asked several times by the owner and waitress how the food was though they both knew that we were dissatisfied. I still tried to leave a small tip on the bill but the waitress who served us dismissed us so quickly that I decided not to. It was a waste of money and a disappointing waste of our weekly date night.
