Honchos - The House of Churros

What a treat!

Delicious churros and the size for the price is fair!! Probably the best I’ve ever had. We got the chocolate sauce and coffee sauce. Both were great, and the service and staff was wonderful as well. Glad we found a great new dessert spot in SATX! The only thing that would make it better is some indoor tables to eat. There are some benches, but we just went to eat in the car since it was a bit chilly.

Their concoctions are yummy and fun. Ours came with a frog chocolate candy and the drink was so delicious as were the churros. We wish it would have come in the mug described but still we love these churros and hot chocolate the best! Definitely worth trying.

The churros are made fresh here and crunchy. I ordered 3 filled churros, strawberry, coffee and caramel. Unfortunately the coffee and caramel had very little filling, almost completely hollow. As such, they tasted almost the same. While the churros had great texture, I wouldn't order filled churros anymore and only get with the sauce on the side so you can actually get sauce flavor. Ordered some coffees, those were pretty good. There isn't much space for eating outside so expect to eat in your car.

Great churros, long wait time

Love that they grew from a food truck on the northwest side to a cool spot in AH. Happy for their success. Churros are grade A. Also try the lavender latte in their fridges!
