Kid-friendliness: Wide open outdoor dining available
Great food and the server was so nice and welcoming! I’ll def be coming back
The food was DELICIOUS! Huge plates, usually in Japanese restaurants the portions are very small. Everything was so fast, so yummy. I’ll definitely come back here again and bring my friends as well. The best spot for sushi :)
This place is a hidden gem! We were actually going to the restaurant just next to it, but found this Japanese restaurant and decided to go in. The food was perfect, portion sized were good and they did not hold back on putting salmon in the dishes. We will definitely be back.
We have been here more than 10 times. Everything was fine but this time he had issues: - Couldn’t communicate, nobody speaks English - Menu has changed and prices as well, not the same quality. - My daughter dropped her chopsticks and the owner didn’t give the new one, she tried to fix it. Again I couldn’t explain that you don’t need to fix it, it’s dirty you need to replace it. Crazy. Are those chopsticks so expensive? To conclude, That was our last visit.
The food is really delicious and the portion sizes are huge. You definitely get more bang for your buck here. The lady / waitress is also very kind and generous. They even gave my group a fried jalapeno dish on the house!
No frills Japanese craving fix, well, sort of. Depends on your version of PRO: - Cheap sushi! - Excellent Beef Udon broth, kind of shocking - deliciously rich and full of flavor! And it was cheap! - Double salmon roll is a new addition and it's stuffed full of salmon. I hope it stays on the menu because I'm not sure I'd come here without it. - Huge salmon salad, not a small side salad, would totally be a meal - Ridiculously fast. I mean lightning for take out. - Small family owned, I love supporting mom and pop businesses. - Small little patio area if you prefer to sit outside CON: - Terrible Shrimp Tempura Roll. Didn't notice that the cucumber in it was "pickled" which tasted odd. Also the mayo/sauce combo on top was odd. Kind of ruined the meal (didn't feel good after eating it) - No nigiri - Lack of raw fish items - Mostly cooked, deep fried and American type sushi. - Small restaurant SUMMARY: Mixed review as 3/4 dishes we had were stellar but the Shrimp Tempura Roll was very bad. It kind of put a damper on the meal. I thought it wouldn't but as I looked at the menu, I'm not sure of what I would substitute for it. Most of the rolls are cooked, deep fried and American type rolls. I prefer raw fish rolls and nigiri that they do not have. But the Beef Udon was a rockstar.
Great sushi rolls, always fresh and delicious, and very nice personal.
