Hometown Noodle Restaurant

A pretty decent family owned Vietnamese restaurant. It’s been a while we saw traditional dripping coffee, so we really liked it. The taste was authentic. For the food, we ordered one Shrimp spring rolls, one Grilled pork ball spring rolls and one Pho Tai. Pho was decent, the broth was just okay. The other two dishes were good. But, I agreed the price was quite expensive compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I have tried. I think they kinda lack of staff because one lady took the job of waiter + cashier + preparing drinks, one uncle served food and cleaned up tables, and there seemed to be only one chef. Thus, it took a bit of time for food to be served. But, the lady was very nice. She chatted with us for a bit while serving our drinks and during checkout. Small corner restaurant but great food and friendly service.

Had 51 for lunch and 57 for dinner. Great vegetarian food. Friends of mine had the meat and I heard no complaints. I can attest, good veggie

I want to like this place, but the past two times I have been there I have found hair in my food, the food tastes good, but the inside is a little dirty, plates and tables are sticky, feels cold. Good for takeout.

Unassuming family restaurant, fast service and food was tasty! Pho could have had more flavor (used to beef bone marinating in there) but the pho def hit the spot for an itchy throat. Their hot tea was really nice too. Defo check it out if you’re in the peninsula side. Also brew coffee across the street ! Kid-friendliness: High chair Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level

Surprisingly decent pho. The broth was nice and delicious. Noodles were good. The meat was decent. Very minimalist setvice. Not outrageously proved. Will definitely come back.

How many years have I been coming here and only today learned they have a parking lot?! Food is delicious and fresh as always, the family who run the restaurant are delightful.
