A wonderful piroshki for a great price! $2! Served by a kind lady who was hustling. Still nice and warm in the bag. If you don’t know what a piroshki is (like me before I ate this on the street), it is a fried dough filled with your choice of chicken, pork, eggs & scallions, potatoes, etc. The possibilities are endless! I went with the egg & scallion. I just finished eating it moments ago, and I already want to go back for another.

This place [Pirozhki] used to be great; I've been coming here since 2006, but now they are just mediocre: the pirozhki dropped from 9oz to around 7oz and the customer service is very poor here: I just came here yesterday on 11/10/2022 and the old woman behind the table had a very bad attitude when I politely asked her to drop-in 2 labels that I wrote myself for the pirozhki so I would know which one is with meat and which one is with cabbage and the old woman declined and just brushed me off with "you will do this yourself!". This recent "naplevatelskiy" experience upset me and I will try patronizing other places on Brighton Beach Avenue for my pirozhki needs! I think that they gotta replace the old "Sovdep" attitude saleswomen with younger, nicer, saleswomen who smile more often and have customer service skills! 12/3/2022 - Update; I just bought a cheburek couple of days ago and their recipe has changed from what it used to be before. Also, their kitchen guy [that cooks the product has changed from the usual guy that used to work here; this leads me to believe that the owner of this place has also changed.

Yummy food, great service and a reasonable price!

Great Greek salad, drinks were authentic and not too sweet, prices were great for that location, seats were available. I definitely will come here again.
