Food was good! Friendly staff. I know where I'm taking all my new chicks for a little cozy breakfast..
First time dining here and enjoyed our experience. We arrived at 1:35pm, 25min until closing and we're seated right away. The servers are very friendly...and we were greeted multiple times. We ordered the Comfy Biscuit and Gravy which we were told is their #1 dish. The gravy was well seasoned and chicken nicely cooked. Also, ordered the chicken and waffles. The chicken cooked nicely but the waffle was extremely thin..so the chicken to waffle ratio was off in my opinion. Just because I prefer a thicker waffle I would not order this dish again but they have so much other dishes that I would try in the future. Service was quick and hardly a wait for the food to come out. We were finished eating before they closed at 2pm. The restaurant has a super cute, homey feel. The walls are decorated with cool art from local artists that are also for sale. Ample free parking available in the back lot. Would come back to try some of the other items on their menu.
I am amazed this place it’s so nice. We come here a lot w/ my Grandkids. Food are so good. Country Biscuit and Gravy. Oh la la.
Stopped in for breakfast while passing through ATL. Service and atmosphere was wonderful, Morgan took care of us and she was great! Boyfriend had an omelette and I don't remember the dish I had but it was salmon cakes with pimento cheese and tomatoes and spinach. It was very good. Boyfriend loved his omelette. The art is very cool to look at as well. If we come back through town we will definitely be coming back!
Never change, please never change. Great service and food
The only thing better than the food is the service and the only think better than the service is the atmosphere.
I really do enjoy Home Grown. Mainly because even though it's predominantly white, there's a really good feel. I've never encountered prejudice or any ignorance. Oh and the food is pretty good. Has good fried chicken and fried green tomatoes
This restaurant was a favorite of mine. I'm very disappointed in the service I received today. First I called and asked if I can place an order over the phone. I was told yes and asked to wait. I waited 15 minutes and hung up and tried to call back and the phone continued to go straight to voice-mail. My sister went inside to place the order and pick up. My eggs were cold and green for sitting too long and didn't have a grain of salt or pepper. My pancakes tasted so sour that I thought the powder sugar was kosher salt. Pancakes dont even look cooked. Very disappointed
