I am from out of town, and I always try to visit this cafe when I’m in Reno. Nestled on a quiet street within walking distance of the downtown casinos, it has plenty of seating both inside and outside. A bit pricey (what isn’t these days?) but justified for the ambience, food, and service. I already mentioned the atmosphere; the food is fresh, and the portions generous (picture included of the Napa Chicken Salad I had on my most recent visit). As for the service - I was sitting outside to enjoy the nice weather, but an overly friendly bee was taking a liking to my salad. In my rush to get inside, I spilled my salad dressing all over the table and the floor. One of the staff members immediately told me not to worry, cleaned it up with a smile, and brought me some extra dressing. I dropped a tip into the tip jar for that. They also have coffee and pastries. Coffee is good (I had an iced latte; again, generous size for the price); didn’t order a pastry so can’t speak to that. Overall, just a nice place to grab a bite and rest, read, work remotely, or chat. Oh yeah, free wi-fi too. Thumbs up.
