Came to Holy Cow after a long walk on the Bosque. The seating on the porch is pleasant and quiet. I ordered the fish and chips (full order) and enjoyed it. Only critique is a more flavorful batter for the fish, but the malt vinegar did help with that. My partner ordered the Poblano and Goat Cheese burger and thoroughly enjoyed it. We split an order of onion rings and have no critique of those, they were awesome. Also, highly highly recommend getting the oreo milkshake.

Stopped in for lunch, first thing that hit me was how absolutely cold it was in the restaurant. No matter where I sat it was freezing. There is no heat in the small building. Staff is not friendly. Took 15 minutes to get a drink and order. The fries came first, they were cold and inedible. Burnt. Limp. The burger was cold and flavorless. They serve a 7 oz burger fyi. Dry as hell. Total meal with tip was $26. For one person. OBSCENELY EXPENSIVE. Not worth it. Will never be back. Not like they care. They don’t.

So my food was what you'd expect from this restaurant. It's been good for a while. I got a salad, and we ordered sweet potato fries and a strawberry malt. We had beers and burgers also. Everything was tasty, but the service was just ok. My thing is the place is dirty. Like filthy dirty. The tables the floor the walls the lights all greasy. There isn't anywhere you look that you don't see oil and grease and dirt. You can feel it on the tables inside the most so we went outside with the tables being stainless (they are easier to clean) but the walls and the outside lights were still distractingly gross. This place needs a deep clean. It almost feels like the ownership may have lost its passion for upkeep. If it's like this where we can see, can you imaginethe kitchen.

It was my first time there. The burger was so good! If it's not all over the place, it shouldn't be in your face! I also got the fried pickles with ranch. They were a little crispy but still good after you took off the breading. The service was friendly!

We had delicious grass fed beef burgers- each with its own twist. The sweet potato fries were the best I’ve had recently!! It’s a very fun vibe. Kid-friendliness: Informal environment with an enclosed patio
