The service here was excellent and the staff were very helpful and attentive. My disappointment was with the amount of food you get for the price. I went with a single meat combo and spent over $18 on two super thinly sliced pieces of brisket, plain mashed potatoes and a roll. I felt like for the price, the brisket should have been thicker and at least 3 pieces and maybe some gravy for the potatoes. I was still hungry after finishing it. The total was $68 for 2 of us for lunch ($10 for 2 fountain sodas). It just felt like skimpy kids meal sized portions of meat for a BBQ place.

Meh! Had the Tri-Tip, Brisket, BBQ beans, and mashed potatoes. Meats - they know how to slow cook meat and it's really high quality cuts. Both the brisket & tri-tip were tender and juicy. BUT, flavorless! Tasted like they didn't marinate at all. No rub, no, seasoning, not even salt & pepper. Straight from cow to grill. Mash - creamy and decent taste. But needed salt & pepper. But no shakers at any table. BBQ Beans - um, i think they served me tin can beans. Hahaha. They had that metal can taste when you don't boil off the aluminum smell and taste off Bush's plain baked bbq beans. Da BBQ sauce - only one kind, in a plastic squeeze bottle at every table. No spicy options as far as i can tell. It's an uninteresting light colored sauce that has too much vinegar aftertaste for my liking. These guys can slow cook meats! But they haven't figured out flavors yet. And way too confident it's good to not have basics like salt & pepper at the table. Maybe order to go or delivery and use your own favorite sauce at home. Kid-friendliness: Family restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Seems like it might fit. But rail guards making a small outdoor sitting area seem too narrow for a wheelchair. Not sure.

The service was standard. Unfortunately this was a dry, under-seasoned, and overcooked brisket.

Went here for the first time ;ast Monday. Thought I would get there in time for happy hour but I missed it. I think it's 5pm-7pm . My server was very attentive and friendly. I sat at the bar and had a pint of ice cold IPAs. They have a moderate selection of IPAs. The manager was very friendly and offered me some fresh pork skins right out of the oven . That was delicious.. Great atmosphere and clean business. Try this place out if you are in the neighborhood.

I only ordered through an app, so I can't speak to the restaurant itself. My potatoes with bacon, scallions, cheese, and ranch was really good, as were the onion straws. The baby back ribs were excellent as well in both flavor and texture. The only item that needed improvement were the rolls- they were tough and a little dry on the inside- making me think the dough was overworked or just needs some tweaking. Really great food overall, and I would love to try some of the burgers and pulled pork items in the future, as they look really yummy!

Brisket getting too close to beef jerky... After not having been in too long, I went with a couple of friends last week and had a 2 meat combo, brisket and pulled pork. Decent, not great, $24 and only 1 side (had the same combo from the BBQ place a block north recently and it was definitely more moist and 2 sides). The brisket was OK, the pulled pork was good but not great. I tried a baby back rib from my friend, on the dry side. Tonight I went with my family and had the 2 meat plate, this time with brisket and baby back ribs and beans. The brisket seemed like it'd been sitting for hours, it was extremely dry, I was only able to eat 1 of the 3 slices even with the BBQ sauce on the table. The ribs were dry, as well, imagining they were sitting for hours as well. Disappointing to say the least, esp since each of those meat choices is an additional $1 above the $24 plate.

Parking: The parking lot is usually pretty busy, which means you never have to wait long for a spot to open up.

Excellent little BBQ spot in Culver City. The manager there came by to see how we were doing and refilled our sodas. The food is actually very good but as I've had BBQ in Texas, I can't give them a full 5 stars. But it was excellent nonetheless and the sides were good as well. Their dinner rolls were awesome I gotta say. Ask for butter and tear it up!
