I came with my family for brunch and it was amazing! The staff is so friendly and the chef even came out to talk about the food. All the food tasted amazing and at great prices. I’ll definitely be coming back. You have to try the banana pecan muffins, they are incredible.
First experience at Holman and Finch was outstanding. Joe Rizz was our server. I would definitely bring guests back just to see him. He was very knowledgeable about every detail of the menu and was just really kind. Clearly the management knows what they are doing.
Food was great! Flavors were awesome and curious. The bread and butter are divine. Price was fair for the quality. Decor is lovely. Very classy gentleman vibes all around the room. Service was great from the server. But greeting from the host stand was very delayed. Every server in the room saw us but didn’t speak or step in to get us seated in the mostly empty restaurant. All in all, would come back again.
The atmosphere is excellent! Very very cool and the playlist they had playing fit really well too. The cheeseburger was to die for. My grandma and I both agreed we haven't had a burger that good in maybe forever? The pork chop was tender and juicy, perfectly cooked. The flounder was perfect, and my dad said he was very happily surprised by how many shrimp were in the shrimp and grits. We will definitely be back!
Pros: The ambiance was nice. The food was delicious! I enjoyed their beef tartare, rabbit toast, and burger. Random but their pickles were amazing, haha. Service was average. Wasn't packed and we were able to get seated quickly late on a Friday night with no reservation Cons: No major cons. The carbonara was made well but wasn't up to my personal taste palette. It had a unique smokey taste/smell to it.
20+ minutes to get a drink and then a big bowl of Spaghetti Carbonara but unfortunately the bowl was big and little to no spaghetti dish. You can get more out of a $2 microwave Mac n cheese cup. Luckily there was bread so we didn’t starve after spending $20+ dollars. Had to flag down people to ask about drinks, food, menu, bill, etc. Doubt I will go back unless I have hours to kill and am not hungry.
The food is pretty good. Though not meticulously prepared. The staff seems to have no direction, and they haven’t a clue about hospitality. They seem completely detached and oblivious to the needs of their guest. The problem here is not the staff. They don’t know better. The problem is management.
Great seating, yummy food and salad, and the drink menu is perfect.
