Just tried for the first time, we've passed by 100x we'll definitely stop by more now. Met the owner, fantastic dude knowing it's independently owned is definitely a plus now onto the goods we got 2 flavors Lava flow and play dough both were delicious. The lava flow was a creamy strawberry with hints of coconut definitely a must try. Playdough was very reminiscent of fruity pebbles a slam dunk for the little ones. Do yourself a favor skip the corporate creameries and go support a local!!
This was one of the best jobs I ever had and I love coming back whenever I’m in town!! It’s amazing seeing the growth Galen and his family have promoted with this fantastic establishment and I can’t wait to come in again!! (tip: get a longboard with coconut ice cream and guava/mango syrup with snow cap!)
To have a piece of the Island here on the mainland means alot! It’s not just shaved ice or smoothies it’s OHANA
It comes with a very heavy heart that we say this ice cream was terrible. :( It literally tasted like it was stale. (my friends said it tasted like cardboard... like it was freezer burned?) :(( Peanut Butter and Chocolate... no peanut butter or chocolate flavor in the ice cream besides the lil reeses pb cups. We sampled two other flavors as well. Also very bad... we'll stick to Kilwins and Baskin Robin's. ============== 8/21/22 - Update/Response: Hi Galen... Thanks for the response.. you said "customers" in your response.... I think you meant employees checking the cabinet temps, etc. Not sure what it was but you may need to get someone local to check it out. It's a big problem if customers taste that ice cream as it is.. they'll never go back. We live close, so we'd be happy to swing down there anytime to be your quality control... we are self-proclaimed ice cream connoisseur's! (we have eaten ice cream 3-5 days a week in 9 states for the last 176 days! (we quit drinking! Lol))
I came in and got $75 worth of ice cream for my family and it was incredible. It definitely gave me that Hawaii feel. The chocolate coconut and the Hawaiian sherbet was my favorite. Owner was helpfy and so incredible
6/26/22-Dropping my 4 star review down to 3 stars because of how expensive they are now. They raised their already high prices for inseam even higher.. You can buy the same size of inseam in the store for only a couple of bucks instead of the $9 they now charge for what fits in everywhere else's small cup. Even Cold Stone is a better deal for the same quality. 4/2022-Yummy and unusual flavors. Slightly on the pricier side for the ice cream. Nice service staff.
It was a little pricey but very tasty, the girl who was working with us was supper sweet. There are many flavors you can choose from which is very nice.
Girl working was so slow 25% of the ice was already melted before we received the product. After shaving the ice she had to make more syrup the whole time the ice was melting. At just over $8.00 you would think they could get things done. Took 5 minutes from the time we paid until we got served. After speaking withe owner and him listing to or problems he arrived us he would address the issue. He also responded to .y review within an hour which shows ihe is very involved in his operations. Add to the the fact his business survived covid 19 and I for one am looking forward to visiting the shop again
