Hoja is by far our favorite in the Platt Park (almost Wash Park) neighborhood. They have everything you need, good vibes, great food, delicious drinks, dog friendly (heated & covered) patio in the back and an open sunny patio out front. Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious and flavorful. The menu has plenty of vegetarian, vegan and dairy free options to choose from. The Cafe de Olla and their Matcha Latte are two of the best cafe beverages in town worth stopping in for alone. You won’t want to sleep on the chips and salad either. 11/10 would recommend to a friend. Vegetarian options: The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable and great to work with. They have a high attention to detail for dietary restrictions Dietary restrictions: Vegan, vegetarian and dairy free options available!
Really warm and welcoming staff. 3 of us can in for a bite. The front counter and seating area are a bit small, but there is more seating in the back. You order at the counter and get served at your table. The food came out quick and hot. Most of the items tasted good but could use a bit more salt. Loved that a Mexican restaurant is actually playing Mexican music over the speakers. Had a solid meal. We'll definitely be back.
Very poor customer service. The barista just really weirdly stared at me while I looked at the menu. Very few food options and I had to order a breakfast burrito for pure peer pressure from the employee staring at me. I didn’t even want a burrito . Also, on their Instagram they say they are dog friendly but as soon as I sit down the owner (I think) just rudely ask me to go to the patio. No signs or anything. Not coming back at all.
The food and service is phenomenal! If you don’t try the pink guava mimosa, you’re missing out. 10 out of 10, highly recommend!
Awesome and welcoming service, great plant based options and cozy interior ❤️
Food was fine. Service terrible. Was told 15 minutes on a to-go order and waited 30. Went in To check on the order and it was sitting on the counter. No one informed us it was ready even though we were told we would be. They charge 5% more to sit inside and very limited seating. Avoid going on the weekend.
Great authentic Mexican flavors in artistically inspired dishes. The vibe is relaxing with indoor and outdoor seating, fun music, and fast service. Very friendly fast-casual experience and the staff are the best! Vegan/Vegetarian/meat eater/whatever the hell you identify as, all will have options. They do a great job and are truly looking to help make everyone feel at home. If you feel the need to eat off your silver spoon, then save everyone the pleasure of your company and stay at home. I hear Uber Eats never fails lol.
Hoja is my go to place around town! The food is so fresh, flavorful, and different from anything else you can get in Denver. It’s such a cute environment and the staff is so kind and fun. If you’re on the hunt for incredible drinks and breakfast/ lunch food, look no further, Hoja is your place.
