The fruit was good. The ice cream was GREAT!
The lady working there or owner is not very nice. Every time I’ve stopped in she gives a terrible attitude. The looks, the disposition of someone bothered and disgusted by people. Can’t ask anything without a nasty reply. Why on earth do people run a business if they don’t want to be friendly. Giving them business seems to turn her off. My husband too, he’s been there buying corn stalks and more, he came home and said the woman there is so put out by people. The nicer you are the more she is nasty. I don’t get it.
We got the year's best corn here. But Hoffay's charges $9.50 for a single watermelon. (Good luck moving those watermelons this summer.) I usually buy bales of hay at this place. The hay (unlike most of the produce) is reasonably priced.
This place is really cute. The ice cream is pretty good, my only issue..i got a hot fudge sundae, yes on whipped cream nuts and a cherry, the issue, you can't cover the hot fudge with nuts, the 'sprinkle' of nuts goes on the whipped cream not a cup and a half of nuts in the hot fudge it wrecked it. It totally wrecked it.
Staff are amazing, especially Kenzie!... Ice cream cakes are to die for!
Stopped here with the extended family, including 3 dogs, for ice cream. They serve Hershey's but the flavor selection was very good. I highly recommend the Banana Pudding and Hazelnut Heaven. They also have soft serve ice cream. The kids enjoyed the playground while the adults yacked. They also have a little miniature golf course, but we were too tired from an earlier hike. I will definitely be back to give it a try as well as some of the other flavors!
Best ice cream in town, and great people.
