Ho Yuen Kee offers the best authentic Hong Kong noodle house (think Chinese fast food from the 70's era) in Vancouver. Their shrimp wontons are stuffed with enough prawns for a fancy western seafood dinner. Their noodles are cooked to perfection to be just soft enough yet retain the al dente aspect of chewyness and goodness. Their congee bowls are hearty with lots of flavours and fillings. Best part is their prices are much closer to pre-pandemic price levels compared to similar venues. Highly recommend if you long for a true taste of 70's Hong Kong.

強逼給小費 ，小費應該是客人自願，而不是強逼，龍蝦有大的，卻騙我只有小的要我買兩只小龍蝦當一只同等重量的龍蝦 ，小龍蝦都是殼沒有肉，因為我們不是熟客所以如此接待顧客的嗎？又騙又搶以後不敢光顧。

Food 7/10, lobster with rice is a must have. Service 6/10, lack of manpower Atmosphere 8/10 with lively noisy vibe.
