Cozy, delicious, and friendly staff. Thank u Patricio who made our evening special and was happy to tell us about the food
Amazing and authentic food!!! Great service!!
Got the beef noodle set for two, was satisfied. The Lu Rou Fan was really good, would highly recommend. The other sides were solid as well and the noodle soup is what you would expect/want from a classic Taiwanese beef noodle soup. They operate out of a cute, small space. Appropriately decorated and clean.
Just the warmest, kindest staff and the most soulful food. Not sure what else you need in life when there's a giant bowl of noodle soup in front of you.
- The beef noodle soup is good, but a bit too salty. The default is not spicy. Tender meat, no bok choy or anything as a veggy besides pickle mustard greens. - Zha jiang mien is tasty and good flavors but a bit too oily, the veggy is a nice balance, but not enough for that amount of oil. - Lu rou fan is def too oily (got small one like a side so just meat and rice no egg or cabbage) not worth getting in that format. I would try again, maybe it was an off-day.
The staff was super friendly. Food was a little overpriced for what it is. The beef noodle was good but not $22 good. The beef shank was solid but noodle was not chewy enough and it did not come with veggie. You have to pay extra for it:(
I loved my experience at Ho Foods. They have great Taiwanese comfort food that really hit the spot. The beef noodle soup had a very flavorful broth and the lo rou fan was delicious and seasoned very well. I also enjoyed the spicy wontons and fan tuan. My tip is to ask for hot sauce on the side! They had a delicious breakfast hot sauce that made the fan tuan even better. The staff at Ho Foods were very nice and patient. It was raining very heavily the day I visited and they did a great job running the food to the outdoor space we sat in using umbrellas and other covers. Will definitely be back!
