Hive and Honey Rooftop Bar

Great spot with amazing views. Good day and night spot with music and dj on weekends. They have a small selection for food, but over good spot to hang out and vibe. Drinks are also good as well.

One of the better rooftop bars I have been too. Service and drinks were excellent. Beware that only the C elevator takes you up to the bar. You may have to go to the lobby and catch C elevator even if you are one floor below the bar.

A small group of us went here on a weekend evening because it was one of the only bars open late and we have heard the view is beautiful. First, the hotel only has valet parking which was far too expensive for a couple of drinks at the bar. The valet guy then offered us an hour pass for about half the cost, still too expensive, and he finally told us we could park for free in the business park across the street. It felt like we were bargaining with him. Then we got inside to find out that the rooftop bar was closed due to “low demand” but the lobby bar was open. The bar seemed busy (in a good way) and we decided that would be fine, we already drove there might as well stay. We went to the bar and attempted to order three mixed drinks. We were told the bar was about to close and we could have bottled beer only. We got three overpriced bottled beers, as we watched multiple mixed drinks be made for other guests. Without any words, I was given the check. I was paying cash, and waiting another 5 minutes of watching the bartenders clean the bar while making mixed drinks before the male bartender got my change without a single word being spoken. We sat down, and watched the bartenders loudly announce to everyone that the bar was closed and everyone had to go sit somewhere else. I have never seen such poor customer service or unlikeable bar staff. They cleared at least 30 people out of a packed bar at 11pm when they were “covering” for the rooftop bar that was supposed to be open for at least two more hours. As Bonvoy members too, we won’t be back, and recommend you don’t either.

Cool place Parking: Pricey parking

I went to Hive and Honey Rooftop Bar after work with friends, and it was SO beautiful up there! The place is boujee and the view is incredible!! Be prepared to be blown away if you get to see the sunset from all the way up there. I'll admit the "comfortable" seating along the perimeter was not my fave because it was so low to the ground, so for us taller ladies, it made sitting down a bit awkward. But we made it work as best as we could. The food was good. I personally got the PB&B sliders. They were a little dry for my taste. I felt like they needed more, but they weren't too bad. Just not my fave personally. My friend ordered the sweet potato fries, and those were amazing!! I personally think they were better than my sliders. Sorry, not sorry. For drinks, I only got one, and I'm like 90% sure it was 'The Honey Bear,' because it came in a cute plastic bear jar. The drink was really good. They're definitely on the pricier side, just like the food, but for an occasional outing, it's worth the splurge for sure. I also can't forget the service. We had a few different servers that night, and all were amazing! They were all so nice and made sure we were always tended to and well taken care of. Every single one was personable and kept us laughing so we really appreciated that. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at the Hive and Honey Rooftop Bar, and I hope to go there again soon!

Food wasn't that great . Really expensive for what you get and the staff wasn't that interested in serving us. Table for two with no reservations means we're sitting by the elevators.

Cool vibe in Irvine! Food exceeded my expectations this time. It is a perfect place for sunset.
