Ordered the Volcano Ramen and Takoyaki. The Takoyaki was great, while it’s hard to mess up Takoyaki, these were just like I like them, hot, crispy exterior, gooey interior, and with dancing Benito flakes. The ramen broth was bold and creamy, the noodles were the perfect al dente, the egg was perfect with a barely runny yoke. Only complaint was the pork was Very thin; also the menu claimed it was ️ ️ ️, but I had to add a good heap of chili oil to get some heat. Overall, best ramen I’ve had in a while. Will definitely be back!
Everything was great except for the food. My party of 5 and myself we’re super disappointed with the quality of the food. The staff was very pleasant and polite. The chirashi don came out about 20 mins after everyone got their food and the fish was old. Super disappointing with a dish that supposed to serve fresh raw fish and rice. The rice was soggy and wet with some liquid. The unagi don was mostly onions. The pork in the charsui pork ramen was old. The chicken katsu curry didnt taste good. Just expected more…
It was very quiet for a Sunday but that ok it great price you pay for
doesnt even open at the time it says on the door
The broth is the most important part of ramen and I can say that the shoyu ramen was very good and flavorful. I would have enjoyed a bit more. The char siu was flavorful along with the seasoned egg. Very happy with this quick stop on a chilly evening.
Dear Chef: You Got To Change This! THE PROBLEM: All of the entrees have very thinly sliced beef, chicken, pork, whatever, over rice, scant vegetable and some broth. Meats were most likely cooked on a hot flat plate, but they “all” had a taste like foul bacon grease. That horrible taste stayed in our throats and stomach which made us end up eating mostly only the rice and feeling like I needed mouthwash asap. I know you can do better.
Uptade: we decided to leave after waiting to be served for 25 minutes. Place has about 50% of customers, but they didn't have enough staff. We'll definitely be back! Great atmosphere, everythingsuper clea, and you could tell the staff well coordinate. Besides delicious, the Ramen were beautiful, full of flavor, and very detailed. Parking was easy. No reservations were required for that night.
Amazing place! I love all of the options here and the vibe is great!
I ordered the softshell crab and it was disappointing!! The batter on the crab was very hard and not rice flour like it should be!! Possibly just made from flour and water!! Tempura was the same!! Hard as a rock!! Poor waitress didn't know the menu or anything about the food!! Being from Hawaii I know my asian cuisine!! Don't eat there if your looking for authentic Japanese food!!
