If you’re struggling to find it, it’s in the corner of the food court, on the right hand side as soon as you enter from the big mall strip. The food was amazing, I got the mushroom and chick’n while my boyfriend got the tofu and chick’n. They even ask if you want your sauce on the top or on the side, so it doesn’t have to be drizzled in it if you don’t want it to be. Both of them were delicious and we were so happy to have that hibachi taste again after being vegan so long. We both finished all our food there in the food court and were stuffed. We wished we lived in Atlanta just for this, haha. The service was also very good, positive vibes all around. Definitely check this place out!
UPDATE: I visited again on January 20, 2024. The quality of the food was vastly different. It was really salty and the texture felt like it had been drenched in tamari. The mushrooms were pretty tough. The box left a wet spot on the table from how saucy it was. The service was still really great, but I don’t know if I would eat here again. For $20 a portion I would like the quality to be a bit more consistent. (Photo and below review are from original visit in April 2023. I gave it five stars last time.) I found Hippie Hibachi while I was looking for gluten free food in Atlanta. I was so excited to find out that everything they make is vegan and gluten free! I got the mushroom fried rice and it was absolutely delicious. I can’t wait to make another trip!
This food was delicious. The person who served me was very kind and helpful.
The food is great. Very well season, always cold, though.
I'm a carnivore traveling with a vegan. I would eat here every night of our trip. The rice is cooked perfectly and the flavor profiles are outstanding.
Decent, has a bit too much oil for my tasty. Tofu is usually good, sometimes a bit over cooked. Pricey
This was my first time trying Hippie Hibachi. I didn't have high expectations, but once I had the first bite, I was pleasantly surprised by how great the food tasted! The "chicken" is soy based, looks like chicken and has a sweet taste to it. The food is kind of pricey - I paid $21 for the Chick'n hibachi, nothing added.
I must say that I was hyped up reading some of the reviews thinking that I was going to get the best vegetarian hibachi ever. I was disappointed. The fried rice was too greasy and tasted like it was cooked with Cisco oil. Sadly, I won't be back.
It’s good stuff. Yum yum sauce is legit
