Hinkle's Restaurant

My husband ordered the chicken and waffles around 1:30. He didn't get his meal until 2:00. What a disappointment. We've had that meal many times but it isn't the quality as it once was. First of all, three small waffle quarters and a little chicken swimming in watered down gravy. Would never recommend it to anyone. Very disappointing. I had the chicken and broccoli stir fry. It wasn't too bad.

Wow, what a turn Hinkle's has taken. We visited for breakfast. Seated pretty quickly, but that was all that was quick. The service was lacking. Young girl who i presume was our waitress took our order and that was the last we saw of her. Someone else ran her food for her. No one asked us if we wanted a refill on coffee. We ordered a basic meal, eggs and home fries. We waited quite a while for the food and it was cold. The plate was hot. Which means it sat there for a while. The waitress never brought the check. We had to go to the register for that. Just not worth the price with so many good choices in Columbia. We won't be back. We will definitely go elsewhere. Sad because I used to like it there.

Absolutely amazing service and food!! Welcomed my service dog with open arms!! Staff is wonderful!! Will be back!!

Food- Came out warm Service- I ordered water, coffee and food. Never got a refill on either water or coffee, had to finish my meal without either, waited 15 minutes for my check server never came, had to walk up to register and ask for my check. The worst service I have ever received for breakfast!

I love Hinkle's and go there once a month. Good diner food cooked with care. Great service. Plus ice cream sodas.

The breakfast was absolutely amazing, and you definitely get your money's worth. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It is a popular spot, so it tends to get crowded.

I have not personally eaten at the restaurant but plan to! We had a catered dinner at our work. The food stuffed chicken breast, pork tenderloin and roast beef. Was absolutely delicious.
