I regularly go to Himchuli and everything on the menu is delicious. It’s the only good Indian in Colorado and it’s amazing. Highly recommend. Don’t go anywhere else. I’ve had the cheese garlic naan, matar paneer, chicken tika masala, lamb masala, veggie korma, aloo matar, chicken saag, lamb saag, raita, aloo Gobi, and probably more im just not thinking of.
Thank you for the amazing dining experience this weekend. A quiet contrast to other surrounding restaurants being very high energy and overwhelming if that’s not the mood you’re in. Delicious and truly amazing service. Too many local restaurants have unfortunately gotten transactional, but not this one! Thank you again!
If you're looking for a restaurant to enjoy great authentic Nepalese and Indian cuisine this is definitely the place to visit! The calming atmosphere and beautiful aesthetic immediately made us feel right at ease. Let's not also forget the AMAZING staff members that served us. Even upon entering the restaurant the manager welcomed us with so much happiness, kindness, and enthusiasm! One can definitely see that the staff are like family and they treat their customers as such too :) Highly recommend !!!
This is an exceptional experience! Flavorful delicious authentic Indian food in a clean restaurant with exceptional service. Don't waste your time and money for a fancy bar and a fire pit. Your taste buds and tummy will thank you.
I this place is so good and has the best staff in town.
We were driving down from aspen, very hungry.. order dal tadka, momos , saptarangi curry We had asked for mild and asked them to take cilantro off.. with paneer to be added in the curry. Instead we received everything before momos.. then saw they had added cilantro in everything and there was no paneer in the curry .. to top it off the dal tadka was actually dal makhani.. the menu says actual yellow dal is dal soup.. and dal tarka means dal makhani.. the description only says lentils with tomatoes and spices so another confusion. Their momos were really good i have to give them that.. but the curry and dal was super spicy.. asked them to take it back and bring yellow dal and that again ended up being spicy.. after they took out the cilantro from the curry .. we tasted the curry and my mouth was on fire. When we called to call for the person who took our order.. a girl came up who was helpful and tried to redo our order but still everything ended up being spicy.. 4.5 stars for this restaurant .. we expected a lot.. just not what we expected..sad we couldn’t even taste what the actual food tasted like.the entire food was wasted..
The staff are lovely and the food is delicious!! I recommend the sweet potato masala and the saag paneer. I crave their food regularly. Vegetarian options: They have an entire vegetarian selection. I have to get the saag paneer and sweet potato masala every time.
One of the absolute best Nepalese restaurants in Denver! Authentic and affordable. Out of all of the Indian cuisine in the Highlands area, this family owned restaurant is the best.
