Himalayan Sherpa Kitchen

The food is phenomenal. We ordered the goat and was extremely disappointed with how many bones we received in contrast to actual meat especially considering how yummy the meat was. Also, maybe consider serving filtered water because we were able to taste the tap. When we asked for bottled water because of this we were charged additionally and the bottles were dirty. We paid $140 for our food so I expect to be able to actually eat it instead of having to suck small bits off bones. Also for this price I would have liked to have clean water to drink on refill.

4/6 - Great staff and wonderful dinner. Terrific service for our group. Binito, Janavi, and Ijack did a great job. Loved it. Chef Bhim Rai created some wonderful dishes.

The atmosphere was cozy but the owner wasnt welcoming. The thakali special food needs more improvement in terms of taste. Also, the chicken choiela wasn’t upto the mark.

Selected as one of the best Indian restaurants in Chicago and it is true. Beautiful flavors, each dish distinct in cooking, spices and taste. Ample portions of freshly prepared food. Highly recommend.
