Hilltop Coffee + Kitchen - Inglewood

Stopped by here quickly with my partner to grab a drink and some food. The atmosphere and vibe was really nice and cool. The place itself is really nice and clean. Also seems like a good place to study. My partner got a dirty chai and we really enjoyed it. The service was also on point for the short time I was there. Only con honestly was the breakfast burrito we got. The burrito just had no flavor. The texture of the eggs and hash browns were amazing though. There was just no seasoning so it made it hard to eat. By no means did it have a bad taste, it just had NO taste. The eggs,hash browns and beans tasted like nothing. My burrito came hot but had unmelted cheese which threw me off haha but thankfully my partner didn’t have that issue. Adding bacon helps but it is extra. Unfortunately we just weren’t able to finish it. I’m not familiar with the other food items so I’m just speaking my experience for what I got. If it was a bit cheaper it wouldn’t have hurt so much lol. Total came to about 57 with one drink and two burritos. Includes tip and service fee

They should maybe change their opening hours to 8:30 AM because they never seem to be open when I show up any time between 8-8:10 AM on any given weekday. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me 3 times or more…

8AM for Coffee, why not 8PM?

Stopped in for breakfast with my daughter and we were blown away by the location, service and atmosphere. It was a very chill vibe and the food was amazing. We will be back for sure on our next trip to LA.

What a great place with very friendly staff! The food is fresh and amazing. You have to try their homemade vanilla in your latte. I will be coming back

This coffee shop has the potential to be a 10/10. The food and coffee is pretty solid and the atmosphere is nice. Unfortunately, despite living a block away, there’s three reasons I can’t give this place anymore than 4 stars. 1 - it’s almost always understaffed on weekends, 2 - the prices are ridiculous especially for a place that says they’re there for the community, 3 - they close pretty early meaning it’s not an ideal place to work for anybody that likes to work at coffee shops.

Modern aesthetic. Staff was professional and courteous, made sure that my name was spelled correctly and that they said it right. They made sure to explain one of their drinks that people are sometimes confused by (I ordered a Macchiato), which I appreciated so I knew exactly what I was ordering. The order was up quickly. The coffee was delicious. And the food just hit the spot. I got the soul bowl with added shrimp. OMG exactly what I was craving. Delicious.
