The worst part about this bar is the bartenders They’ve ruined the bar scene here. Making people have a reservation for the bar and putting seats in the standing tables

Great food and service but pricey

To level set, this review is based on one visit and only two menu items: artichoke dip appetizer and Ding's Chicken Sandwich. On the positive side, the service was excellent. Attentive without being obtrusive and very engaging. If you find something worthy on the menu you'll have a great experience. I did not find that item. I found the artichoke dip to be too thin for my taste, and it needed some salt to bring out a little more flavor. But it was the menu item recommended to me, Ding's Chicken Sandwich, that I found insulting. This is a chicken sandwich made for strict vegetarians who want to dip a toe in the carnivore pool without feeling guilty. I have included pictures of my sandwich and also a Popeyes chicken sandwich so people can see what I mean. That thin white line below the kale slaw is the chicken. This sandwich, with tax and gratuity, will cost $30. The Popeyes sandwich cost around $6. If you order a chicken sandwich you expect to taste some chicken. The kale slaw with its heavy dressing overwhelmed almost every other element. Also, the sandwich is not constructed correctly. When you serve a warm sandwich the cheese should be melted on the breaded chicken and not slapped cold on top of other items. Based on Ding's interpretation of a chicken sandwich, I would avoid any other Ding items on the menu. I get that items in an NYC restaurant will be more expensive. But if I pay 5 times more for something that doesn't taste as good - unless you love kale slaw with lots of dressing - as what I can get at a fast food restaurant 3 blocks away it feels like I've been scammed.

Cocktails were great ! If you don’t have reservations be sure to wait lol

Always perfection! The French dip doesn’t get better anywhere! And some of the best sushi too!
