Highland Bakery

There truly are NO WORDS. This is and will always THE BEST BRUNCH IN ATLANTA. My heart is broken. I understand all good things must come to an end but this feels so wrong, unreal even. I have enjoyed brunch at Highland Bakery for as long as I can remember. If I love you, I've taken you to Highland Bakery. The food is absolutely amazing. I've experienced many dishes on the menu. It made my visit this past Saturday that much more difficult as I couldn't imagine what would be my "last meal". I come so often but opted to get a table full of my faves. Hands down the best sweet potato pancakes I've ever had. I know they can't be imitated. It's just impossible. Even more than the delicious food is the consistent SERVICE. Coming to Highland Bakery feels like having a meal with family. Everyone is welcome. It's such a vibe. A comfort. A standard that many places lack. I love seeing the familiar faces Stacey, Carrie and the gang. Great service. This establishment matters so much to so many. I am happy I've had the opportunity to experience such a wholesome, friendly and loving environment with the most delicious food. Bravo, Stacey. You are amazing and I will forever support you! I love all of you guys and wish you all the very best.

One of the best breakfast/brunch spots in Atlanta for two decades. Sad to see the original location closing but glad their other locations will remain open.

This is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places to eat. I have been going here for 14 years and the food is always amazing. You must try to ricotta . Kid-friendliness: My granddaughter loves the food as well.

I must say that this place is consistent with their great experience. I still feel relatively new to Atlanta even though I've been here since February 2022. I always request for the same awesome waitress who knows and understands my very picky side. She is truly an amazing young lady who treats customers exceptionally well. Make sure you request for Carrie the waitress with the smile of an angel. Thanks Highland for being so awesome. Maya D. Update: I went in last Sunday and ordered my usual and was greeted by the fantastic owner Stacey and my awesome waitress Carrie. Unfortunately I was made aware of them closing on January 31st until they find a new location which was heartbreaking. But thankfully my awesome waitress Carrie will continue her hardwork and excellent customer service at a restaurant called Press N Grind! I definitely still look forward to the new location but until then I will settle for the new restaurant since Carrie will be there. Thanks so much for the continued great customer service by everyone but especially my angelic waitress Ms Carrie ❤️.. Maya

Look, the Peanut Butter French Toast here is the real MVP. It's like angels wept fluffy, buttery tears onto perfectly toasted bread, then slathered them in ambrosia (aka peanut butter). Seriously, it's a religious experience .The food was excellent! However, I would recommend to put the grits in container (look at the picture and you will understand). My girlfriend, and her sister complained that the grits was not in a container!! It was just dropped on the togo box (as it is shownonthepicture). I don't eat grits so this does not concern me , but next time I will call to make sure they put the grits in a separate container or something! #TwoChicksandaCup #OfGritsYouSick

Such a wonderful brunch/lunch spot. The Classic Eggs Benedict is delicious. I think it is wonderful you can get half grits, half potatoes on the side. Hard not to grab a bag full of pastries on the way out.

Did not like it at all. The side potatoes on my plate were literally burned. So much so that I had to ask for a new set of potatoes to be able to eat them. They did bring them, but then those one, I couldn't eat either because the taste of old old old oil was way too much. Such a pity
