High Street Fish And Chips

Homely and comfy British style joint. The environment is nice, folk are friendly. Fish is fluffy and crispy, so are the fries. Nice selection of English style pies.

Flawless dining experience. There’s nothing to complain about here. The staff were so friendly and the place is so quiet and cozy. Loved the meat pies and the fish and chips are top tier. Very “hole in the wall” kind of vibe and very clean place to eat with either friends or family. The fries are not the extra crispy kind that I tend to like but they complement the crispy fish really well. I highly recommend sharing plates and trying a variety of items. Coleslaw is a must to cut the fried food and the poutine was solid. Loved the shepherd’s pie. Cost is very reasonable and the lunch deal is definitely a steal. Will visit again!

I ordered Halibut fish and Chips with coleslaw, The fish was delicious white and flake not oily, The service was perfect, I think it’s the best one in North York, I will comeback again. Parking: A lot of places for parking.

Got the full Monty . Mushy peas 2 pcs of Haddock Chips And a pint . All good again, great place, great quality and very clean . Perfect

Wish I got pics before I devoured it! We walked in for takeout, ordered 2 cod and chips meals(9.95 each- fantastic value!) large tartars and a coleslaw. The fish was so fresh, juicy and flaky! The batter is thin and light and crisp! I was really impressed. The coleslaw is my personal favourite- it’s the chopped one with the creamy white dressing, with just the right amount of tang! Would come back again for sure:)

Good classic fish and chip shop. Halibut and chips were amazing. Sooo fresh and servers nice and hot. Great wait staff. Lots of parking. A little bit pricey. $82 for two for lunch. 2 fish and chips 2 pops and one salad.
