Recognize that the burgers here are more about the toppings/add-ons than the beef. Nice, pillowy buns. Fries and onion rings are well-fried and good even when they cool down. Massive sizes for everything - even a small side should be enough to share.
The sandwiches are so good, as well as the beer battered onions. Only thing I would add is that the gem sandwich needs a bit more salt and that’s it really. I would also recommend that if you’re the type who loves sauce with their sandwiches, their spicy sauce is so good and actually is spicy, I didn’t expect that.
Small bar and grill with some delicious chicken sandwiches, hamburgers, and wings. Parking can be a challenge if you are driving in, but the place is worth a stop. They have a decent selection at the bar for liquor with a few beers on tap and in a bottle.
# 1 burger in my entire 57+ year life, including my own homemade varietals. The half pound wagyu is always juicy and tasty and cooked to perfection while the toppings, of which there are many, are fresh, unique and delicious. Try the Sunday morning burger which has tater tots, bacon and egg! Many of the sandwiches are also fantastic as are the seasoned fries. Behind the scenes, Eric is a great guy!
This place is an interesting combo of incredible food but poor service/atmosphere. The good: We got the Past sandwich and the morning burger- both were absolutely delicious. The sandwich bread was soft and appetizing and the burger was nice and juicy. Portion sizes for both were good- you’d easily be full afterwards. The bad: Obnoxiously loud music, and no service at the tables. The food took forever to come, and when it finally did, it came piecemeal and partially cold. The bathroom was filthy and absolutely disgusting. The crowd made me feel a little uneasy , but that might just’ve been that day. I’d probably be back, but only for the food/takeout.
