Hidden Lane is New York's newest hidden gem, and my recent visit left me thoroughly impressed. I tried the Espresso martinis – both the regular and the chocolate one, and they were absolutely phenomenal. The chocolate variant had a perfectly balanced sweetness that pleasantly surprised me. The bar's bi-level setup, lounge, and outdoor garden create an ideal entertaining space with a touch of old New York charm. The picturesque garden, illuminated by lit-up trees, adds to the ambiance. The recent renovations with barn-wood paneling and white brick, along with ornate brass accents, showcase attention to detail. The upstairs lounge features cozy seating, a fireplace, and a separate bar area. Steps away from Gramercy Park, Hidden Lane offers a delightful escape. The bar's extended hours, open until midnight on weekdays and 2 am on weekends, cater to various preferences. Whether you're sipping a margarita on the garden patio in the summer or enjoying a hot toddy in December, Hidden Lane provides an intimate venue year-round. The versatility of the space makes it suitable for after-work hangouts, corporate events, birthdays, happy hours, networking events, and private parties. With two floors, two separate bars, and a spacious outdoor seating area, Hidden Lane accommodates events of all sizes. The experienced and hands-on team ensures that every event is memorable. Overall, Hidden Lane is a must-visit for its fantastic drinks, charming ambiance, and versatile event spaces.
