IT WAS FUN AND THE FOOD WAS GOOD. THE ONLY THING I DIDN'T LIKE WAS THE FACT THAT THEY USED FRIED CHICKEN. I'D LIKE MY CHICKEN COOKED FRESH ON THE GRILL WITH THE REST OF MY FOOD. THAT CHICKEN WAS COLD, HARD AND OBVIOUSLY COOKED DAYS EARLIER....
Great food, great server, great chef. All around great experience. 4 out of the 5 of our party had never been to a hibachi steakhouse before, and it did not disappoint!
Had higher hopes for this location based on previous reviews. But this was one of the WORST experiences I have had at a hibachi restaurant. First off, we choose the location because the well known Hibachi restaurant we normally go to up the street was booked for the night. We have gave this location a try to celebrate my daughter’s 14th birthday. Making a reservation was fine, our server was pretty attentive, but where things took a turn for the worse was with our hibachi chef. When going over our allergies (seafood) that was fine, but when my sister mentioned very nicely she had an egg allergy (even though our server was aware and her rice was being made in the back) our chef started making fun of our table having too many allergies. We thought he was being sarcastic with us because we know they like to play and have a good time, but his face turned bright red and angry and he taunted us for at least a minute. It was the most awkward experience I have ever had at a restaurant. We were a friendly table just out trying to have a good time and it really made for a horrible experience. To top it all off my sister he was taunting just lost her husband and this was her first outing since he passed away. A lesson for anyone reading this - you never know what someone is going through. Be kind. Everything is not a big deal and can typically be worked out with understanding and communication. This chef needs to be fired and get out of the hospitality industry because he certainly has NONE. Also, our takeout had TONS of hair in it when we got home which made things even worse. The ventilation system must not work because the smoke in the restaurant was ridiculous. I would never recommend this location to anyone. Attempt to go 5 minutes up the road if you can.
