Heritage

This is my favorite restaurant of the year! Exceptional food and service, and I love the ambiance of being in a converted home. The menu is almost constantly changing (so plenty of temptation to go back). The first time I visited Heritage I booked a return trip as soon as I left the restaurant. Fortunately (for my bank account, if not my taste buds) I live a couple of hours away, otherwise who knows how often I'd be there. A must try!

My son is a chef and would love to work at Heritage, helping to create their fabulous dishes. Sometimes I think he's a little jaded because he tastes delicious food every day. The delight and surprise on his face from the first mouthful at Heritage was worth any price. As for me, I would have eagerly licked the dishes once the food was gone, but my husband was giving me The Look, so I refrained. Dietary restrictions: I can't eat raw onions and my husband is allergic to beets. We gave the restaurant plenty of notice and the staff made adjustments. Everything was unbelievable.

Somehow manages to be indescribably artistic (delicious) and true to Long Beach ethos simultaneously.

Superior restaurant. But very noisy and hard to hear people at your table.

I have been to a few Michelin Star restaurants in the LA area and this is the best one I've been to so far. I enjoyed sitting at the bar on my birthday and watching the team prepare all the dishes. The dishes had a very unique flavor and creative presentation. I really enjoyed the sauces prepared on all the dishes. The service was excellent. If you want to spend your money on a unique and new experience. I would would highly recommend dining here.

One of the best meals I have had in recent memory.

I hate cabbage and they made me love cabbage. Cabbage is my new favorite vegetable.

Every dish was delicious with unique flavors. Now, I'm a small person, not a big eater, and understand that it was a tasting menu; however, the portion for each dish was literally about one table spoonful. You'd have to stop somewhere else to get a real dinner before heading home... Lol
