Lunch cost for a family of 2 adults and 3 little kids came down to $170! Great food but $170 for lunch?! And more than an hour long line, no place to seat (after waiting more than an hour with kids) hideous restrooms, snobby service, NOT kids friendly.
Waited forever and the Tri trip was sold out but beggars can’t be choosers. Delicious food!!
This Zagat-rated barbecue joint serves legit dry-rubbed, smoked meats in the Texas style. True to down, the meats are so tasty and tender you won't need barbecue sauce, but they provide it if you prefer - I used some on the tri-tip. Prepare to wait in line, especially during peak hours. We waited about 35 minutes in line and we got there around 2:30pm on a Sunday. They also have a separate bar where they serve hard lemonade and a few other drinks and beer. I highly recommend this place and it's definitely one we would always visit again.
Finally got lunch here on a Thursday arrived before noon and only had about 4 pp ahead of us. After seeing the long lines and reading about this BBQ I was excited to try this and they did not disappoint. We tried the pulled pork and brisket taco, brisket sandwich, mac & cheese and Creole potato salad. Everything was delicious, pork was juicy and portions were large. You get a number if your sitting down to eat, food delivered and it was fast after we ordered. For drinks you order separately at their bar, which they also sold beer. Sodas are bottled. If you want beef ribs they only sell those on the weekends. Service was friendly and thanked us for our business when we left.
The ribs melt in your mouth
It was so damn good that we finished almost of it would even putting on any of the extra sauces. The BbQ made it next level. Expect to wait in line and it doesn’t move super fast because they have you verify and accept every cut of meat you buy. Also you can get almost any weight I know the signs say 1/2 pound. It really it’s any weight. Side weren’t wow meat was the star.
