Herbie's Bar & Chowder House

Absolutely love love love this place. Food was amazing, service was outstanding, and they made us feel welcome. As passer's through we had a ton a questions about stuff. They really went out of their way to tell us about local happenings and funky little joints. This is a "HAVE TO STOP" place, tons of different local beers.

The pork belly was great. Buffalo wings were juicy and tender. Clam chowder was awesome even on a hot day. Fun and funky joint. Tons of craft beers available too!

Poutine and smoked meats are out of this world.

This little restaurant was truly a dive atmosphere. Not fancy just casual. We have the chicken and smashed potatoes and the cheeseburger fries. The waitress told us that these two dishes were both on the food network. Wow, they were terrific even the meat on the french fries cheeseburger. Part of that meal was an exceptionally flavorful meat the chicken was fried in an amazing breading. It was extremely flavorful and moist and there was plenty of it. The gravy was quite extraordinary and rich. We highly recommend this restaurant also the Keylime pie ,of which we have had about 30 pieces or more since we’ve been here in Florida honestly more like 50, was truly about delightful just tart enough.

Best smoked fish dip in the keys. Period. Killer conch chowder. Enjoyed the hogfish over linguini. Favorite meal in the Keys

Our food was not that good and they charged $1.50 a slice of cheese on your burger! And our bill for 4 was close to $90.00
