Herb & Omni

As a true foodie and experiential connoisseur, my recent visit to Herb & Omni was one of the most amazing fine-dining experiences I've had in years. The restaurant was at the caliber of a venue I'd expect to find in Dallas or New York, and I was blown away in all aspects. From the moment you walk in and are drawn into a surreal and stunning world esthetically to the incredibly attentive servers and bartenders and the most amazing culinary dishes, everything about my dining experience was noteworthy. You can see and taste the thought, passion, and creativity that went into the current menu's fusion of flavors. I tried a little of everything from the vegetarian beet carpaccio, to the crab cakes, to an unbelievable cut of waygu. Every plate was a complete work of art visually and tasted better than I could have imagined. I look forward to future experiences at Herb & Omni, and have a feeling this venue has some prestigious culinary awards headed its way someday (at the very least, it's deserving of them)!

Best steak in Whitefish, hands down! The restaurants interior is gorgeous and the service was very welcoming. My server recommended a new cocktail I hadn't tried before, which is now my new favorite. Highly recommend if you're looking for a night of fine dining.

Moving here soon, and haven't eaten here yet, but we read all the reviews and found the 1 star reviews to be thoroughly unreasonable and the five star reviews to have been written by adults. Will revert back after we eat here.

The best restaurant in Montana. Everything was perfect. The staff was friendly, informative and made you feel special. The menu was incredible. There was a lot of variety and interesting combination. The design of the space is stunning. I am definitely going back and bringing more friends. Well done, Herb & Omni.

This place made our trip to Whitefish unforgettable! This is one of the best places I have been so far with a VERY good level of service and an absolutely incredible food. The way they pay attention to the details is truly impressive. From the moment we stepped into the restaurant and until the moment we left it we felt like we were the priority for the staff and that they are doing everything possible and impossible to make us happy. One of our meals took longer to be cooked (another waiter accidentally took the food that was prepared for me). Both the waiter and the manager came to us and apologized for the delay and took that meal off the check which was very nice of them. I am spoiled with good service at good restaurants and I am very rarely leaving positive reviews but this place is worth it. The name of the waiter was Joe and he was absolutely a top level waiter. I don’t remember the name of the manager but he was very professional as well. I have absolutely nothing to criticize, the entire experience was absolutely perfect! Food was full of flavors and everything we tried was absolutely delicious! Thank you for an amazing night! Vegetarian options: I do not eat meat and I still had plenty of options to choose from.

Incredible, sophisticated dining experience. Chef is using amazing local ingredients. The Wagyu beef was a standout (might be Montana's best steak) as were the chickpea fritters, beet carpaccio and poutine. Dining room is gorgeous. Was with a large group and the waitstaff was super attentive. All the desserts were amazing, but the cookies were a standout. Possibly the best cookie I've ever eaten. My favorite restaurant in Whitefish! Vegetarian options: Clearly labeled vegan (and gf) dishes. Lion's Mane mushroom entree, Napa cabbage entree, beet carpaccio, salads, vegan desserts and accommodating kitchen

The food, service, and atmosphere were on point! I was so impressed with everything. All the decor made me think of 1920s vintage with a modern flare. Fortunately, I went with a large group, and we all ordered something different from the menu. We all shared our plates to get a taste of just about everything on the menu. Everything I ate was a burst of flavor heaven. The crafted drinks are not only great tasting but pretty to look at too. Lastly, on the night we went, there was live music that set the mood. Again, everything was on point. If you can't already tell by my review.....I will be going back.

I can’t think of when I’ve had a better dining experience than this week at Whitefish’s terrific Herb & Omni. Design, service and food came together for a memorable evening. I hope to go again soon. From the front door it’s a treat for the eyes, mid-century cosmopolitan in design. The artwork on the walls is modern, thoughtful and accessible. Tables are well decorated and unfussy. The bar is just beautiful. Next I found an impeccable level of service that left me comfortable and relaxed. Diners’ needs are anticipated and met seamlessly. Never a bother but always at hand when needed. But the design and the service, great as they are, can’t match the food! All fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Interesting combinations that surprised and pleased. Herb & Omni’s commitment to locally sourced ingredients show the team’s commitment to Montana farming and ranching, and at the same time make for a terrific dining experience. Whether you try the Lion’s Mane Mushroom from Sun Hands Farm in Kalispell, or the Pork Chop from Abraxas Farm in Missoula, or the Bison Tenderloin from Roam Free Ranch in Hot Springs, you’ll enjoy a great taste of today’s western and modern Montana.
