Walking distance from where we are staying, at 1st glance from outside looked iffy , but glad we went in , friendly staff , loved the bean curd tofu in a garlic sauce , outstanding! Henry’s house seafood special was just that Special ! Also had Moo-Shu pork great , definitely coming back, also noticed constant take out orders , a good sign of repeat customers
Seafood soup, potstickers, curry chicken, Mongolian beef and of course...the Chilli oil are superb! Service is awesome! Thanks Eddie!
Combo fried rice was meh. No flavor and rice was still a white color. Should have gotten smoked ham fried rice. Mongolian beef it was a bit small for take out. And way toooo salty.
We came into San Francisco from Mill Valley for a Covid-19 test in preparation for a surgery at UCSF. So, since it was my birthday 🎂 , we decided to take a little drive, as it is across the city. I haven't been to Henry's Hunan in probably 10 years. Before that I had been going to this Hunan since 1982. That's 40 years ago.I knew Henry, the original Henry and was good buds with his grandson Jeff. So, we ordered Diana's meat pie and Harvest Pork, my all time favorite. We also ordered Mu Shu Pork. We got all the way home and realized we hadn't gotten any plum sauce. I was so disappointed. When I called them to complain, or to find out how they could have forgotten the plum sauce. The nice woman who had taken my phone order to begin with said they haven't used plum sauce in 20 years. OMG, who doesn't use plum sauce on Mu Shu Pork! I am 😠 mad so that's all I've got. The rest of the meal was fine.
