18% service fee is automatically charged for dining in customers . No receipt is provided. Feel uncomfortable about it. Afterwords, I find I was charged for more than 18 % service fee without notification.
不知道是不是换厨师了,水平参差不齐的,平常爱点的酸辣鸡胗 肥肠也都很一般,这个质量还涨价
The food is still awesome but the wait times have gotten really ridiculous especially when you’re just two people waiting for two dishes. I even had to wait a good amount of time for somebody to show up so I can pay my bill.
Went here with my Chinese friend and we had to ask for the special Chinese menu, they gave us the regular one at first. I would say if you’re not too familiar with Chinese food, stick to the English one but we both enjoyed the food here a lot! The food is spicy (how I like it) but I recommend getting the sweet tea with it to combat the spice. Between the 2 of us we had 5 dishes and took home whatever we didn’t finish. I’ll definitely be coming back to try the pork belly
A nice place. that it's been around for almost 50 years says a lot. the kung pao chicken is a solid lunch.
The most authentic Hunan cuisine in the US, period. The seasoning is spicy, strong while highlighting the food’s original taste. I am so happy to see a restaurant that is not contaminated by fake American Chinese food like orange chicken.
Waiting is too long. 40 min to be seated and 40 min for the food. Don’t go if you just need a brief lunch or dinner.
I used to be a regular customer at this place since the pandemic. I live in the building next door. Today, I called to place a to-go order, and the lady on the phone told me it would be at least 30 minutes. Understanding that they might be busy, I patiently waited for 50 minutes to pick up my order. When I arrived, the lady at the cashier informed me that it would take much longer because there is a conference at the Moscone Center today, and they have many customers from there dining in. If they don't have the capacity to take to-go orders, then they shouldn't accept my order when I call. I can easily go to other places. I explained to her that I was a regular customer, but she acted as if it made no difference. It seemed she would rather make some quick money and lose a long-time customer
