Absolutely love this place the bartenders are great the service is always phenomenal and the fact that they have a variety of music played by live bands it's just a bonus can't find a better atmosphere in La Jolla than Henessey's. The Thursday night $6 smash burger is the best deal in the county of San Diego highly recommended. Vegetarian options: They do any burger but with a beyond burger Patty. Wheelchair accessibility: It is on the 1st floor and is wheelchair accessible.

Ordered the shepherd’s pie. What a mistake. They served me warmed up leftovers, flipped over, and smothered in canned gravy. THE WORST! Really, Chef, really? We are local and regular customers, but not anymore.

While I wouldn't give my calamari 5 stars, I would give our server 10! The place is so cute, more affordable than other eateries in the area, and the gal serving us was literally above and beyond in kindness, attentiveness, patient, professional! No where else that we ate on vacation had as good of service.

This place is like a claim jumper but with a bigger alcohol menu, and you can't go wrong with that.

Very good burgers and sandwiches. Service is top-notch. If you like Irish themed pubs, give Hennessey's a try. Happy Hour prices (4-7PM) includes hors d'oeuvre, wine, and beer specials.
