Super cute spot and the best/most authentic Bun Cha we have had since our trip to Hanoi! The char siu banh mi was also delicious. We will be back!

I’d been looking forward to trying this place for weeks and finally decided to treat myself after a long, hard day. When ordering my pho, there was an option for “NO Cilantro,” which I was excited about, given that I’m a person that despises cilantro and was really looking forward to not having to pick it out of my dish. I even made a point to excitedly tell my partner that this restaurant had this option. Lo and behold, when I received my pho, there was a copious amount of cilantro mixed in, despite having explicitly selected the No Cilantro option. It was a huge disappointment for me, as I usually only make pho myself at home to avoid this specific problem. I honestly think the pho would’ve been delicious if the directions had been followed. It was truly a shame that this experience was tarnished for me in this way.

If you're a Vietnamese cuisine fan, then you have to stop in here. Great food at very reasonable prices. Try the seafood pho!

food does not match pictures in menu. ordered pork chops and they usually come with a fried egg. on the menu it shows a porkchop with fried egg. however, they do not serve it with fried egg. fried egg is $2 additional. the porkchop was dry, flavorful, but tough. it was also very thin. this dish was far too expensive for some rice, a meager porkchop, and some lettuce and carrot. i can go to pho ha saigon on adams and get a better meal for less money. also the service here is lacking. i brought up the issue of the menu being deceptive and it was clear the staff was not interested in engaging in a meaningful way. its restaurant week on a saturday, and the restaurant is mostly empty. hard to imagine why after my experience.

Wasn’t gonna post a review but after hearing and reading Pedro Alfonzo Diaz’s review, I feel compelled to post. I sat at the table adjacent to he and his female partner with the cute, short haircut. He stood out in his newspaper blazer. I looked over since it was my first time there and by the looks of his and his companion’s empty plates, I figured, food’s gotta be good. Yes you order from a QR code and the restaurant staff is mostly hands off but they come around to check in. It was around 1pm on a Saturday. The food was fresh and came out super quick. An elderly lady came out from the kitchen. I’m guessing she’s the matriarch of the small business. Wish i had taken a picture of my food but i took no breaks from eating. The man sat there over his empty plate and narrated his review aloud to his partner as he typed. Dude, don’t be petty. Pay the additional $2 for the egg if you want it or go to the place you mentioned in your review. Stop slandering small businesses.
