I enjoy atmosphere and beers!

I would have given this place 5 stars if it wasn’t for “Harmonica John” that was performing at the brewery. My partner and I were sitting outside with a couple pizza slices, and this man who we’ve never seen or talked to approached our table, reached across our food to grab a ring hook game and said nothing. He then proceeded to say “just for for fun” and awkwardly tried to play the game in front of us. He then walked away but proceeded to make more comments to us when we very clearly were uncomfortable and uninterested. Beertender was great though. Great beers.

I'm a regular visitor, live in the neighborhood. There's something about this brewing, it has its own charm. They have sour and regular beers. Two separate warehouses. I prefer regular and there are lots to choose from. On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday they have food track till 8 pm and live music on weekends. The atmosphere and people are very nice here. It feels like a family:). I recommend visiting this place on the weekend evening.

Great beer and crew!

There are 2 taprooms at this location - Helix Brewing and Sourworx. Helix has all the hoppy IPAs and Sourworx has all the sour barrel aged beers. We can even hang out in the large beer garden with our dog. Always a good choice!

Great atmosphere, good beer, they have food trucks out front and live music on the weekends.

To me Helix is a top 10 San Diego Brewery. I have tried almost every brewery in San Diego and Helix from Day 1 has been a top tier brewer. The environment of the place is like hanging out in your best friends backyard. Parking is difficult but the location is worth it.

Came here on a late weekday afternoon to try out some beers. Love that there’s the option to have both ciders and beers! There’s lots of room both inside and outside options. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and help you pick out the beer for you! Only thing that would make it better would be food but this is definitely a great local gem to meet friends and have some drinks!
