Helga's Haus & Bier Garden: German Restaurant & Bier Garden & Deli

What a fantastic experience! Came to Denver to meet a few friends and being German, I wanted to go to a good German restaurant, so I picked Helgas and I’m sure glad I did. The seating was typical of a German restaurant, the food was honestly some of the best German food I’ve had. The Rahm schnitzel and Spätzle was top class. I can say it’s the best schnitzel I’ve had and that’s no joke. There was 6 of us and we all were blown away by how good the food was. The Austrian band was also great to listen to! Really set the mood. This place alone made my trip worth it. I will definitely be back if I’m ever back in Denver!

Feels like a home away from home. The service was fantastic, very quick and felt well taken care of. The food was equally fantastic. Fresh, Authentic, and homemade tasting. I will definitely be recommending and returning in the future.

I went to Helgas for a nice lunch, beer, and to watch a basketball game. The food was hot and delicious, the beer cold, and the TV on the station. I ordered the chicken schnitzel, the soup of the day, and a side of potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly. The chicken was juicy despite being fried thin, which was a wonderful surprise. The mushroom sauce was warm, creamy, earthy, and salty-perfect for me. No complaints at all on the food. I ordered an apple tart for dessert after the game ended. It was warm, flavorful, and a perfect end to the meal. The service was outstanding. I was regularly checked on (but not too much, which was nice) and had everything that I needed. The staff let me enjoy the game while I ate and drank. The afternoon was excellent.

Wunderbar! Phenomenal food and service. I didn't know there was such an authentic place in the area. Will be back!

If you go anywhere else for German food, you're wrong! The ambience was amazing and the food delicious! I can't say enough for the staff. They make a great old fashioned and are very knowledgeable when it comes to beverages
