One of the very best restaurants in the Southeast. From the tomato pie to the incredible steaks - everything is excellent. Don’t tell your grandmother, but their seasonal vegetables are better than hers. And their angel biscuits will change the way you think about life. If you haven’t been here, you’re missing out.

It was our first time coming here for our Anniversary. All my friends suggested the angel biscuits and they weren’t wrong! They were soft and fluffy but the whipped cane syrup butter is what did it for me. Delicious! You must get them for an appetizer! We also had the special appetizer of the night which was some kind of crudo. It was light and the flavors were well-balanced. I had Amberjack and my husband had lamb chops for our entrees. Both were great choices! My fish ended up not being cooked in the middle, but they immediately made me another, gave us free champagne and dessert. I think I’ll pass on the Brussels next time. I prefer very crispy brussels and they didn’t have enough “crunch” for me, but the seasoning was nice. For dessert we shared the gingerbread cheesecake. DEVINE!

Absolutely delicious from the first bite to the last. Marcus took great care of us and knew the intricacies of the menu through and through. The angel biscuits are a must. The salads had super fresh greens. Our snapper and chicken were very tasty as was the twice baked sweet potato. We enjoyed our date night and will be back. 3*** for the atmosphere as it is a little loud, but food and service are 5*****.

Wow! I don't give a lot of high ratings, but I have to say this restaurant had it all! Great vibes, comfortable atmosphere, Great service, thanks to our server, Matthew, and best of all, the food was outstanding! Be ready to drop a few dollars but it was well worth the money. They have a really nice, large selection of wines and a full bar. We knew we wanted steak so we started with the big bold, dry St. Emilion Merlot from Bordeaux region. Excellent choice to pair with steak. More on that later. We started the meal with the kale and parmesan salad, which was more than enough for two people! Flavor explosion! Loved the garlicky flavor coupled with the kale and the buttery croutons! Overall the quantity of food for everything was enough for two! Next we moved on to the main meal. We ordered the 22 ounce ribeye and split it. Again, flavor explosion and cooked to perfection. We ordered the twice baked potatoes which were uniquely delicious with a spice to it that went extremely well with the wine! We also ordered the mushroom medley. While they were not my favorite, they were good, but had too many herbs on them for me, I like mushrooms plain with salt and butter. We were too full for the desert, but, I'm sure it would be good. We will definitely come back here next time we're in Birmingham! They do have valet parking.

Gave it a second try. Food was ok. Service was worse. Waiter was not friendly and extremely unhelpful. Our party of 6 felt like we were bothering him. Bread and butter is what won them 3 stars.

Just outstanding. Incredible food, service and atmosphere. A bit pricey but absolutely worth it.
