We booked a reservation for our anniversary after having lunch here a while back and had a wonderful time!!! They do also take walk-ins so a reservation isn't necessary but I'd recommend it just to be sure they have a spot for you and it's a great way to give the staff a heads up with any dietary restrictions. The staff was incredibly helpful in modifying menu items for a vegan and were happy to do so. Everything we had was expertly prepared and visually stunning. You should note that this is absolutely a fine dining experience so it will be more expensive than your average restaurant but considering the quality of the dishes, the ingredients used, the skill required to prepare them, and the portion sizes it's definitely well worth the money but even then the prices aren't as high as other places that severely lack the atmosphere and menu creativity. As a twenty year chef, I have zero complaints and will absolutely be returning. Brilliant work and if I could give more stars I would readily do so. Thank you all so much for a wonderful evening. Spade Chef Vegetarian options: My wife is vegan so when I booked the reservation I put it in the notes and the staff was sure to let us know what dishes were or weren't vegan and how they could modify them. She had no issues at all with the menu.

Great place, food was delicious and the service was great.

Went for lunch on a cold Saturday. Place was quiet except for group at table behind us. Loud talkers ruined atmosphere a bit. Deviled eggs were perfect. Really wanted soup, they had mushroom. It was good, but their carrot is still our favorite, followed by the butternut squash soup. My entree was the warm goat cheese salad with Salmon. Salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned and delicious. Salad was good as always. Husband got the Mary burger and fries. News fries are bigger and breaded and we both liked them better. Can't wait to go back on another cold Saturday.

it’s not often that i almost cry over a meal (in a good way) but it happened tonight. my wife had posted in a facebook group inquiring about date night spots that would be cozy, delicious, and accommodating to vegans like myself. the chef, josh, saw it and reached out to her, letting her know they would be happy to make something happen for us. i don’t know exactly where i had set my expectations for this experience at before having it, but those expectations were blown out of the water either way. chaney took care of us tonight and was so kind, personable, and professional. every dish, every course, every bite was perfection. it’s so special when people really truly care about food and what it means to feed their community, to make a memorable evening for another, to make a dining experience through and through. my dietary choice, although a choice i made on my own, often limits mine and my wife’s dining experiences down to places we know have one or two vegan options, rarely ever being places of this caliber. there was thought and care put into everything i ate tonight. i cannot say enough how much i appreciate this staff and this chef for the time & food we had tonight. you all made our date night so very special, and we will 100% be back. highly highly highly recommend.

Really enjoyed this place. The vibe is super cozy and hip. The food is excellent! I was amazed at the taste of the crab cake.

Always a solid pick. The duck breast with luxardo cherry sauce and polenta was superb and my wife loved the miso salmon.

Excellent eggplant parm and duck fat fries!

Always an exceptional meal. The staff is always top notch and very accommodating. The chef always does a fine job of representing Kentucky Cuisine at its finest.

Dinner before drive home... Started off with the Autumn Bisque and Fried Chicken Livers. Autumn Bisque was outstanding! Great flavors and the cinnamon croutons brought it all together. Chicken livers were done well. Fried chicken for entree, wife and I split and they took care of this for us so that is why portion may look smaller in picture. Chicken was extremely juicy and very crisp on the outside! Highly recommend. Service was outstanding.
