They were supposed to give a free beer to those that finished the 5k run but they conveniently “ran out”. And wouldn’t give a free drink from anywhere across the bar…after a marathon. Pretty bad. Would not recommend.
Heat advertised they had free beer after the half marathon, but very conveniently "ran out" of beer when me and wife went to redeem our free beers after running 13.1 miles. Definitely false advertising. We then asked for cider that we would pay for, my wife has a european accent and the manager disrespectfully looked at her and acted rude when all we did was ask for ciders. The host told us that they don't have ciders. What kind of college bar doesn't have ciders? I am ultimately angry at how the manager acted towards my wife, he definitely had racist and or sexist overtones. This used to be a good college bar to go to on a weekend but I will not be returning.
Stopped in here after half marathon with a party of 4. Go somewhere else. Found hair in my pizza. Everybody else said their food was flavorless. It didn’t seem clean, tables were sticky, napkins on the floor, etc.
Ran the half marathon with a group of my veteran brothers. They offered free beer after the race and then told us they ran out of beer. How does a bar run out of beer? Definitely a disappointing establishment, can't believe they would not serve veterans

The 3 cheese bread & pizza i ordered were very disappointing not taste whatsoever. The food was cold when I received it. Wont be ordering from them again
One of the best casual places to eat in Tuscaloosa! We have been coming to Heat since 2016. The pizza is fabulous and I highly recommend the Street Taco pizza - one of their latest specials! The bartenders are awesome and the wait staff is always fantastic. We appreciate the happy hour prices, too!
