10/20/23 - second try: ordered 2 × red velvet waffles; wings lunch special with hazel sauce, fries, sprite; wings lunch special with lemon pepper sauce, fries, and Dr. Pepper. Food was good, fresh, and hot but... red velvet waffles - dry (not craving waffles from here anymore ), soaking it in the syrup didn't help either; didn't know wings came with it since it's not in the description like it is under the Belgian waffles; wings that came with the waffles were more flavorful than the wings lunch special; hazel sauce was good (elevated those wings and the fries); ketchup not used to that color or taste, preferred to use the hazel sauce instead; fries were very soft, mushy after touched (better for teething babies); lemon pepper sauce was pure grease; no Dr. Pepper - was substituted with another drink. Thanks for refunding the alkaline water . Is there a way to temporarily remove what's out of stock on the online menu? GrubHub driver: professional, punctual, very friendly with effective communication. Hopefully a third time will be the charm. We'll see in the near distant future... 10/03/2023: I was a bit apprehensive to order since I've never really heard of this place. I had a craving for chicken and waffles and Hazel's Brunch Bar had fair pieces. The GrubHub driver was punctual and professional. Received my food fresh and hot. The food is absolutely delicious. I wanted more chicken than waffles. I'll keep that in mind when ordering in the future. Thank you.

They're NEVER ready for business at the time they say they're open. Don't pick up the phone until almost 8a. They need to get serious about their business. I drove out of the way three times and only once were they open at 7a but the grits had just been poured in the pot. Didn't have corn beef hash so once again a waste of time and gas.

Ordered red velvet waffles with eggs and bacon. I felt like they were pretty good and food wasn’t cold which I appreciated. Reasonable price. Lady at front / cashier and cook I believe was very kind. I just didn’t like how they had no sausage.

First time here, found them on Google, went near opening. Haven’t had turkey wings in so long wanted it. Terrible experience. First thing first the collard greens was bomb! Very good. The old reheated rice which wasn’t fully heated was crunchy. Last of all the disgusting turkey wings was not even cleaned! I tried to eat that’s unseasoned meat and it was full of feathers kept spitting them out. And unflavored. Waste of money don’t have to ever worry about me ordering again. If that’s “soul” food I don’t want it from here… wouldn’t mind only a side of greens from here as long as their fresh.

Love the food, it’s amazing

Food is not good at all ! It taste like it was cooked in dirty dishes . Not even For the price I paid for it was extremely high for something that’s not worth it

I found this place on Uber eats. They are also on Doordash and Grubhub. ❤️❤️ I love the customer service. I tried the breakfast here, I loved it and I also came back a second time. ️ ️ Scrambled eggs, sausage, 6 pancakes and 2 pineapple sodas. It was so delicious and worth every penny. Try this place out and you'll enjoy every bite.

Anybody saying their food was bomb in 12/2021 must be related to whomever runs this business. We ordered the fried fish & salmon patty breakfast 3 days ago & Candace didn't seem to be surprised when I called to complain. She was very nice & offered a refund. The meals were over $28. The choices of fish were catfish or talapia. I chose catfish only to be called & told they only have talapia. My eggs had cheese that I didn't ask for. The talapia looked weird, tasted horrible, and was pink inside.The presentation just wasn't right. The salmon patties tasted & smelled BURNT!! They say they just changed the grease. They must've change it to some old burnt grease. Anyone rating this place good either, high, can't cook, or a combination of the two. This is our 2nd time trying them and being disappointed. When they first opened we had fried ribs, smothered pork chops with greens. Everything was overly seasoned & nothing in to brag about. Whoever's in the kitchen is trying too hard & CANT have any culinary skills. People used to be inside eating, now it's always empty. That should've been my que to go home & cook my own talapia & grits or chicken & waffles.This girl can cook & they need some serious help. My 1 star is for Candace & her willingness to offer a refund.
