Haveli Indian cuisine is perhaps the best Indian restaurant I have been to in the Rochester area. The food is extraordinarily good and has FLAVOR unlike other restaurants. The service is particularly exceptional too with polite staff. The staff are also quite friendly and frequently ask as to how to improve your dining experience and refill your drinks. I have yet to have ever gone to a better Indian place and whole heartedly recommend this restaurant.
Great foods, very friendly staff! Enjoyed it!
I order from here frequently, but this last order was just abysmal. Palak paneer that tasted like a soup with some spinach and no salt. And takda daal with almost no lentils (another soup) and also no salt. I am not going to order again because I have no idea what to expect. In the past you have also messed up. But often you are good. Lack of consistency is the problem. Nobody wants to gamble when ordering their dinner. Edit: Respectfully, I think you have the wrong person. I ordered delivery. I have never been to your restaurant. It may have been someone else who sat and ate at your restaurant that you are referring to. And I am not lying when I am saying the tadka daal had barely any lentils in it, it was a flavored water. And the saag paneer was similarly thin. I will even order again in the future if it becomes more consistent. Like I said, it has been good in the past. But it’s been now more than one occasion where it is not good at all. It sounds like your chefs slack or rush through certain orders.
I ordered rasamalai, butter chicken, naans, chat. Chat was not good at all. No sweet chutney, no salt and tons of chick peas. The rasamalai was not rasamalai at all. It was white rasgulla. Totally disappointed with the food. Don’t know what a rasamalai is.
