Low light, buzzing with conversation yet not overwhelming, mixed vibe from front to back and the patisserie in front is lovely.
The mac n cheese is so delicious, definitely my favorite dish. The noodle is unique and seems hand made, adding to a special texture. The lamb meatballs were pretty tasty. I also enjoyed the ricotta, which comes with some olive oil mixed in and contributes to its rich, savory flavor. Both the burger and spicy chicken sandwich were juicy and delicious. I definitely strongly recommend this place for happy hour eats and drinks!
I went during HH, the place was packed but I still say down immediately. Drinks were good, bartender was nice and the bill was small and I drunk multiple drinks.
Beautiful space. Spare ribs were incredible, the pizza was delicious, Philly cheesesteak egg rolls were ok.
I walked in at a busy time of evening, but was able to be seated at the bar right away. Like all bar seating, it was a little narrow on elbow room, but certainly manageable. Tables were a little close together, and sound bounced off of hard surfaces, but conversation was still possible. Kevin was my bartender. He was very knowledgeable about the specialty cocktails and about what spirits were on hand. He gave excellent recommendations as to what food would pair well with the cocktail I had chosen. The lamb meatballs were not the best that I've ever had, but they were very good. The pierogi with creme fraiche and caviar was inspired. I will definitely order that again. Kevin again helped me pick out a dessert to go with a bourbon that he recommended. The blood orange meringue tart was exquisite and paired marvelously with the bourbon. I want to give four and a half stars for food and for atmosphere, but this app will not let me split the difference. I will definitely return here again soon, and will bring friends with me the next time.
